Atlantic Menopause Show - FULL SCHEDULE fRIDAY oCTOBER 17,

8:30 - 9:30 REGISTRATION

Doors open at 8:30 am to give you a chance to visit the trade show, take in the exhibition space and find a seat in the main exhibition hall for our keynote speaker.  We will have a registration table where you can pick up your tickets. Limited tickets will also be available for purchase day of.

9:30 am-10:00 am WELCOME

BALLROOM B1 B2  Guests will settle in and learn about the flow of the day.  We will have some special guests pop in to get the day off to a fun and energetic start then we will have members of the Menopause Society of Nova Scotia join us to introduce our Keynote Speaker Dr Ardelle Piper. 

10:00 am-11:00 am KEYNOTE ADDRESS

BALLROOM B1 B2   Keynote address by Dr Ardelle Piper-a Royal College Certified OB/GYN who focuses her gynecology practice on midlife women’s health. Dr. Piper advocates for improved appreciation of menopause in organizations and the general public, and health education in workplace wellness programs. 

11:00 am-11:15 am BREAK

Time for  quick break - to refresh in the Chill Zone or visit the Trade Show.  Replenish your energy to get the most out of the Breakout Sessions this afternoon.  

11:15 am-12:15 pm BREAKOUT ONE ( 5 concurrent sessions)

There are 5 concurrent sessions that will take place over the course of the hour in Rooms 501 - 507.  Sessions will cover a wide range of topics related to menopause.  There is a complete list of breakout sessions below.

12:15 pm- 1:00 pm LUNCH

Lunch will be available for participants in the main conference room.  It is a plated meal served at the tables to allow time for discussion and community.  Trade show  booths will also be open at this time. 

1:00 pm-2:00 pm BREAKOUT TWO

The second set of breakout sessions.  There is a complete list of topics below.

2:00 pm-2:15 pm Room Transfer/Bio Break

A quick break to allow participants to move from the Breakout Sessions to the Ballroom for the closing panel.  Trade show will be open!

2:15-2:25 pm Health Tomorrow Foundation Energy boost!!

Learn how movement is important at every age and stage of life as we introduce you to a Foundation active in changing lives ... with a plan for getting you moving as we head into the final stretch. 

2:25 pm-3:15 pm EXPERT PANEL presented by Astellas

Presented by Astellas - the final event of the day is our expert panel.  The topic is:  Menopause Unplugged - What We've Learned and Where We're Headed.   The panel will also answer questions submitted by audience members throughout the day at the Chill Zone.  

Speakers include Dr Ardelle Piper, Dr Maria Migas  along with Erika Burger and Wanda Earhart.

The Trade show will be open from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm except for the two times they will be closed - during the keynote and last panel.
